post postscript ...
Unfortunately there are some hitches in youtube ... The video I posted was wonderful, but for the mysterious mechanisms of the network has been "caught" in a tangle that I can not unravel. Who wants to hear and see, however, the interpretation of Emmylou and friends can click on the second video that appears inside it, the connection line to the other archive you tube.
Or I posted an excellent and most rocking interpretation by Silencers. Hoping that this is not captured ....
Sabato 18 luglio 2009 Cesara - Monte Il Pizzo km. 6,1 Partenza ore 15,39 Arrivo ore 18,16
so I decide to abandon the initial idea to climb to the valley dell'Acqualba, and the right to deviate significantly, as can be seen well from the map I posted. You gain altitude quickly enough and, encouraged by the GPS, take the dirt quite easily. I enter into a private open space from which to snap some pictures with the camera (I'll eat your hands afterwards for not bringing my camera with me ...). Cesar is under me and I can sweep with his eyes until his village Colma, Mount Camosino and, well, lake, Orta and the eastern side.
Continuous confident of finding a path that goes beyond the beautiful dirt and can lead to the summit. Unfortunately ran into a fence enclosing private property where the road goes to die and I can not help but continue coasting. In the end I find myself in full immersion in the wild woods without any trace of the trail ...
Indago GPS map to find a way out that allows me to go to the Mount Pizzo. I discover how I too trusting diverted to the east of the beautiful white stone, while the path addentrantesi in a valley and connecting with Vernier was elsewhere. I am not discouraged, and go up the slope, climbing almost in the middle of the intro of brambles and undergrowth. Gain hard now, making their way through the undergrowth, in altitude and keeping under observation the map, try to get as close as possible to the path that is reported. Fortunately, after quite a steep and difficult, coming in a small flat clearing that allows me to draw breath and take stock of the situation.
The path that I have to get runs almost parallel to the path that I'm doing, so I decided en route to the "spot" and try to avvicinarmici as possible by exploiting the viable areas of the forest. Continuing to note the progress being reunited with the path traced, goes a long way, fortunately, almost flat, until finally I find a marked white-red rock that comforts me find the right way of the future ...
at this point I tried to close the loop of the trail, following the path that will take me to Nonius and then go back to Caesars. This is because they are not yet sure to find the trail that climbs to the Mount Pizzo. But when later after making a slight downhill, I find the detour, climbing quickly, climb through the woods, I have no hesitation, and although a little resigned to not too scenic views, definitely done right.
before heading home, I jump at the church parking lot in front of Nonio to take a picture of the second summit of Mount Pizzo, the one that dominates the village, and that appears in the opening post.Qui zoomed image of the cross that I add is located on the balcony.
