L’XI Congresso della Società Internazionale di Filologia e Linguistica Italiana (SILFI) si terrà a Napoli dal 5 al 7 ottobre 2010. Secondo una tradizione consolidata, l’XI congresso SILFI intende promuovere il dialogo tra filologi, linguisti, storici della lingua e dialettologi, italiani e stranieri, su questioni teoriche e descrittive di ampia portata. In particolar modo, quest’anno studiosi di diversa formazione, che si occupano della lingua e dei dialetti d’Italia, sono invitati a proporre interventi sul tema della variazione nell’italiano e nei dialetti, with specific reflections on diversity and linguistic and textual variants documented in various stages of linguistic history. The change from the beginning characterized the Italian language and articulation of space has led to the formation of a common tradition of studies in different disciplines such as sociolinguistics, dialectology, philology, linguistics theory, the history of language. First, the variation has a central role in describing the structures of Italian and dialects, investigated with a wide range of methodologies presented by a different theoretical framework, of a formalist and functionalist. Just the variational perspective, however, suggested a more complex system linguistic history, proving crucial in the description of phenomena ristandardizzazione of contemporary architecture and modeling efforts of the language. Finally, variants of perpetrator and offer the possibility of transmission to get to the heart of the processes of production and reception of texts and are well placed to be assessed in relation to the history of Italian literature, which highlight the internal stratification and reports that it has from time to time entertained with variety and extra-literary rhetoric.
